The Challenge
Golden Gate Concierge Medicine came to me with a simple request: audit and tune up its Squarespace website
for healthcare SEO best practices. Because the practice relies heavily on referred patients (those introduced by
existing members, partner physicians, or trusted networks), the website was underdeveloped relative to the caliber
of the practice itself.
In concierge medicine, the website is a digital extension of the patient experience. A thin site, limited
physician pages, and underdeveloped local search presence can make even a highly respected practice feel less
established at the exact moment trust matters most. Pre-engagement, the site was attracting only 157 monthly
sessions, and every prospective patient evaluating a $5,000-per-year membership inquiry was forming a first
impression on a website that was not telling the practice’s full story.
